Good Food Nation, Saga

Four years ago ethical trailblazer Isobel Davies started a very unusual eco fashion label, Izzy Lane: beautiful clothes made from wool from a flock of long-haired Wensleydale and Shetland sheep she rescued from the abattoir.

It all began after Isobel discovered British farmers were destroying fleeces from sheep slaughtered for being male, lame, ophaned or too old, while at the same time wool was being imported from Australia and New Zealand.
